Academic Affairs

The Academic Affairs committee works on any of your concerns related to study areas and resources on campus, your professors, classrooms, and advising. We also make sure that your ideas are voiced for all academic policy and procedures. We also try to educate you on these academic policies and procedures. In the past years, the committee has created an Honor Code for the school, provided student feedback for the restructuring of the schools and the dean searches, conducted a campus-wide academic concerns survey, gathered ideas for improving advising, worked with the library on extending their hours, and conducted a PAWS survey. This year, the committee has many great ideas including working more on advising and holding a forum on academic policies and concerns. Academic Affairs is always welcome to new ideas or suggestions to how we can improve the school for you!

Message from the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Dear Constituents:

Welcome to the webpage for Committee on Academic Affairs!

We hope that you will look at this page throughout the year to see our goals and initiatives, important announcements, and different opportunities and events.  Please use this page to stay informed of the work we do and keep us informed as well of the issues that are important to you. As always, we will present our ideas and plans for reaching them, but more important than that are the things that matter to you.

We will continue to strive to be the best public servants we can be and hope you will continue to be satisfied with the work we do on your behalf. Please feel free to attend our committee meetings on Mondays at 7:30  PM in the Student Center Student Life Section.

Yours truly,

Katie Cugliotta
